GC Updates in my life.

So alot has happened since my last post awhile back. Here goes...

On 7/23/11 I attended my first geocaching event: Creative Hideout 2011 Caching (and coffee) with my friend and fellow geocacher Purple Flip Flops. It was a bit intimidating at first but everyone was really nice despite realizing that no geocachers our age (twenties) were in attendance. They gave away some cool prizes including a "Joe Friday" geocoin which I have set loose (You can view it under my trackables tab above). During the event I bought a micro log cache container I am still hiding and putting online. Overall, it was a lot of fun!

Then a few weekends later I went out with Purple Flip Flops and we made 7 finds!!! You can view those all under my finds tab. Thanks!

My goal: to get up to 50 finds before school starts on the 22nd!

Solved football puzzle...who knew??

This was an easy puzzle to solve but I still have yet to go find it hope to this week! :)

'Are you affraid of the dark'

I have begun work on a creative new cache I hope to place soon!

Found an old and

broken flash light as my container.



Then took it apart. Removed actual light and inside coil.



Found bright colored puffy paint! Including: Glo in the dark puffy paint!

Covered plastic top in Glo in the dark puff paint so as a night cache it will glow. Then added a green G to make it noticeable to other cachers and to disuade mugglers.
